Description
This image of Derwnt Dam overlfowing or over-topping was captured after rain in autumn. The spectacular sight of millions of gallons of water cascading down the 100ft (30m) wide face only occurs from tme to time in Winter and Spring and is amazing to watch. The Derwent Dam and Derwent Reservoir form part of the three reservoir complex in the Upper Derwent Valley – the others being Howden Reservoir above it and Ladybower below.
This item is individually, professionally printed using the giclée process to ensure ultra-fine detail, a wide tonal range and long-lasting, photostable colour.
