Taken on a clear, still, winters day this print captures the beautiful calm water of Howden Reservoir and clear sky that complimented the towers of Howden Dam. Part of the famous Dam Buster’s run, this structure and the almost identicalDerwent Dam below it were instrumental in training for Operation Chastise – the delivery of Barnes Wallace’s bouncing bombs. An iconic image of the Derbyshire Peak District set in the glorious High Peak.
